The Xcelerator was specifically designed for 2006 Duramax Diesel trucks and provides speedometer corrections (for tire sizes ranging from 25" to 44.75" in ¼" increments), governor removals, and three levels of performance. This unit also retains the stock program so that the truck can be put back to the original settings if the need arises. It increases the efficiency of the vehicle, which increases fuel mileage (2-3mpg on average). The Xcelerator also defuels for upshifts and down shifts in order to allow transmission to engage into next hear without the need for extreme transmission modifications. In addition to being an all-star in the world of performance, the Xcelerator is also capable of reading and clearing Data Trouble Codes (DTC) through the OBD II port. In order to insure that you are getting the best product available, we have tested this product off-road, in the desert, the ¼ mile drag strip, the Rocky Mountains , and in the dyno room.
