South Bend Clutch SBCDD-1939-12-CD

12 paddle, 2 disk, Ceramic material sled pulling and Extreme street use clutch. Complete with clutch, flywheel, diaphram pressure plate assembly. SFI approved! All parts for installation are included, Clutch fork is not included but is available. Call for more information or to choose the clutch for your application. We carry all South Bend clutches from OEM replacement to all out Feramic multi-disk drag race and sled pull clutches.

This clutch here is for the guy that drives his truck daily, has mods done that add HP/TQ above stock and he likes to play on the 300 foot battle field on weekends. This truck would not be a dedicated puller that pushes the maximum amount of power, this would be your averaged hopped up truck with a good tune, and maybe injectors and a turbo.....but not a full on assault at making the very cutting edge power. If you feel that your truck is an all out assault, and steet-ability is not a big issue, we would change up to a Feramic clutch material.

DD Max FB - Feramic button Max use of 650 HP and 1200 TQ.

Feramic material on the buttons can take the extreme abuse and heat of extreme sled pulling and drag racing. This is the king of the Duramax clutches!

Lever type pressure plate with heavy increase in pedal pressure, 12 ceramic buttons per side of disc, 650 hp (good for sled pulling)

Model year 99-2000 includes HD arm if requested. Hydralic upgrade not required.

As with all double disk performance clutch's, there is a sound inherant to the use of these race style clutches. Do not be concerned over this normal sound.

Ford & Dodge lever type pressure plate w/ increased pedal effort@3600 lbs,plate load & 12 ceramic buttons per disc. Recommended for up to 650 Hp & heavy duty street, light sled pulling & off road use. All SBCDD clutch kits include: pressure plate,2 clutch discs,steel center plate,steel flywheel,throw-out & pilot bearing,alignment tool, & pressure plate bolts.

For sled pull only applications with minimal street use, a FD (feramic button) option is available. This CB version is for split duty sled pulling along with daily street use.
