ZOOM Performance Products has developed two new stages of ZVT™ clutch sets complete with new flywheel for 2001 thru 2005 Dodge Cummins Diesels with 6 speed transmissions. (For the 2005 model, this set only fits trucks equipped with the NV5600 6 spd. transmission.) ZVT™, a.k.a. ZOOM® Variable Torque™, is patent pending technology that adds clamp load by applying centrifugal force to the pressure plate as RPM of the engine increases. The torque transmitting capability at the flywheel for this clutch set is 830 lb-ft @ 3,000 RPM with organic friction material (Stage 1 – Part# 20231SK) and 1,482 lb-ft @ 3,000 RPM with ceramic button friction material (Stage 2 – Part# 20232SK). Secondary benefits include: excellent drivability; stock clutch pedal feel and virtually no added stress to the clutch release system or engine thrust bearings.

New from ZOOM® Performance Products….an innovative new clutch called ZVT™ that can free your torque and transmit it to the pavement. Patent pending ZVT™ (a.k.a. ZOOM® Variable Torque™) was born out of drag racing technology and adds clamp load by applying centrifugal force to the pressure plate as RPM of the engine increases. Available for Ford and Dodge diesel trucks, this amazing new clutch can free up all that extra torque that people spend so much money creating.
One can expect additional torque handling gains of 300 lb-ft or more with organic friction material (Stage 1) and well over 600 lb-ft with ceramic button friction materials (Stage 2).
Secondary benefits include: excellent drivability; stock clutch pedal feel and virtually no added stress to the clutch release system or engine thrust bearings. Plans are currently in the works to extend this new technology into the Mustang and Sport Compact markets.
